Superser Gas Heaters and Propane Gas Bottles

As the colder months approach, Superser gas heaters remain one of the most popular and reliable heating solutions for homes, workshops, and commercial spaces across Wimbledon, Surrey, and surrounding areas. At Gas Bottles Wimbledon, we regularly support customers using Superser heaters by supplying the correct propane gas bottle and providing clear guidance on our cylinder exchange system.

Whether you are new to bottled gas or simply want to make sure you are using the right setup, this guide covers everything you need to know.

Why Superser Gas Heaters Use Propane Gas Bottles

Superser gas heaters are designed to run efficiently on propane gas, making them suitable for both indoor (well-ventilated) and outdoor environments. Propane is widely used because it:

  • Performs reliably in colder temperatures

  • Delivers consistent and powerful heat output

  • Is widely available in exchangeable gas bottles

  • Works well for both portable and fixed heater installations

Using the correct propane gas bottle ensures optimal performance, safety, and long-term reliability of your Superser gas heater.

How Propane Gas Bottles Work at Gas Bottles Wimbledon

When you order a propane gas bottle from Gas Bottles Wimbledon, you are paying for the gas inside the cylinder, not purchasing the cylinder itself. The bottle remains the property of the gas supplier and is provided for the safe storage and use of propane gas.

Like-for-Like Bottle Exchange

Our exchange system is simple and transparent:

  • If you have an empty propane gas bottle, we will exchange it for a full one

  • If you do not have an empty bottle, a one-off cylinder charge applies

  • Once the cylinder charge is paid, you can continue exchanging empty bottles for refills in the future

This approach keeps costs predictable and ensures cylinders are handled safely and correctly.

Cylinder Charges Explained

For standard propane cylinders, including those commonly used with Superser gas heaters, a one-off cylinder charge of £48.00 applies if you do not already have an empty bottle to return.

This charge is not a deposit and is non-refundable, but it allows you to keep the cylinder for ongoing exchanges whenever you need a refill.

Please note that if no empty bottle is available and the cylinder charge has not been paid, delivery cannot be completed.

Returning or No Longer Using Your Gas Bottle

If you no longer need your propane gas bottle or Superser heater, simply contact Gas Bottles Wimbledon. We can arrange free collection within our local delivery area, ensuring cylinders are handled and recycled safely and responsibly.

For safety reasons, gas bottles should never be placed in household waste.

Choosing the Right Gas Bottle for Your Superser Heater

Superser gas heaters typically use standard UK propane bottles compatible with approved regulators. Choosing the correct bottle size and connection is important for safety and performance.

If you are unsure which bottle you need, our experienced team can advise you before ordering, helping you avoid incorrect fittings or unnecessary delays.

Propane and Butane Gas Bottles Available

While propane gas bottles are the most common choice for Superser gas heaters, we also supply butane gas bottles for applications where butane is more suitable.
